Lausanne and the Future of Syriac Christians in Turkey

The 1923 Treaty of Lausanne established the Republic of Turkey and included protections for religious minorities. However, the treaty did not explicitly recognize the Assyrian community, leading to ongoing challenges for them within Turkey.
