About Assyrian World Chronicle

Assyrian World Chronicle is an independent, curated index that helps Assyrians and everyone else follow Assyrian-related news from many countries, all in one place. From the ancestral homeland across the Nineveh Plain, Tur Abdin, Urmia, and Syria, to communities in Sweden, Australia, the United States and beyond — the story of a people is unfolding on many continents at once. This project makes that story easier to follow.

Assyrian World Chronicle is not a newsroom, and it is not a replacement for original publishers. It is a discovery layer. Every headline links to the original article at the source that reported it, so publishers keep their traffic, their voice, and their rights.

What we cover

  • Homeland updates from Iraq, Syria, Turkey, Iran, Lebanon and neighboring regions
  • Diaspora communities, church life, and cultural events worldwide
  • Human rights, politics, language, history, and community development

Editorial approach

Every article is reviewed before it appears publicly. Summaries are written in original words based on headlines and short excerpts — never by copying article bodies. We track source permissions carefully; see our copyright & attribution policy for details, and use the takedown form there to request corrections or removals.
