United States returns 36 antiquities worth $5 million to Syria

The United States has repatriated 36 ancient artifacts, valued at $5 million, back to Syria. These cultural items were previously stolen and smuggled out of the country during the prolonged conflict, which left archaeological sites susceptible to looting.
